Learn how to make these interlocking festive holiday symbols that can be disassembled and packed away until next season. 

The standup tree is 6"h x 5"w, and the menorah is 6"X11".

*All Materials & Supplies included in the workshop fee to create (1) table standing 3-D Glass Christmas Tree.  A dichroic star-topper will also be available to add to the Christmas tree for a little more added glitz if you choose.
~OR you may choose to make the menorah for Hannuka
**You must supply your own basic glass cutting tools.



~After you have completed your standing holiday glass project and with any workshop time left before the 5:00 pm ending time, you can choose to create some super fun festive ornaments or mezuah.  Any of these additional ornaments you make are also included in the workshop fee.

Fused Dimensional Iridized Dragonfly   9:00 AM - 5:00 PM     $215

Skill Level: Basic glass cutting skills and fusing experience required.

                                                          3 DDragonfly

This a full day class to learn to create a fused dimensional glass dragonfly with sparkling iridescent wings! Students will learn how to angle the wings,include wire legs and antennae with two techniques for constructing the wings. The dragonflies may be embellished with glow-in-the-dark powder to illuminate the wings at night. Patterns will be provided and students will be shown how to scale down and mount the dragonflies for ornaments. You will also make a lily pad to display your dragonfly. As time permits, students can also make a dragonfly pendant.  *All Materials & Supplies included in the class fee.  You must supply your own basic glass cutting tools.

Another Full Day Class!  Want to add dimension and texture to your fused glass pieces or fused elements for mosaics? This class will teach you techniques for adding texture and movement for 3-dimensional effects through the use of various fused glass materials, glass paints, and fiber paper. Students will make a large 7” fish that can be incorporated into copper foil project, Leaded glass, a mosaic piece or as a standalone piece. Techniques for adding a wire loop for wall display, and resizing and reorienting the pattern will be covered. Students will also make a 4"x4" fused tile that can be rigged for incorporated with hooks for hanging.  *All Materials & Supplies included in the class fee.  You must supply your own basic glass cutting tools.

Freeze & Fuse Powder Castings     10:00 am - 5:00 pm      $225

In this class, you will learn how to make your own one-of-a-kind glass elements, with lots of color and detail.  These can easily be incorporated into any glass technique or method including copper foil, Lead, a mosaic, or re-fused into another fusing project or easily used for jewelry. Fusible glass powders are packed into silicone or plastic molds, literally frozen in the freezer, and fired in the kiln!  You will have the opportunity to make several flowers, skulls, butterflies, and other creatures from the molds. You are encouraged to bring your own fondant or candy molds. Class time is only allotted for learning to create these castings.  Incorporating them into a project will be on your own time in your own creative ideas.

Wesley Wongis an award-winning artist who designs and produces custom glass art from his studio in San Jose, California.  His passion for glass started in 1981 with stained glass, which eventually led him into mosaics and fused glass.  His work features lots of bright colors and intricate patterns and has been exhibited in many juried glass and mosaic shows throughout the United States.  Wesley has written many articles for Glass Patterns Quarterly and is a regualr contributor to the ASGLA annual stained glass lamps calendar.
